Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: March 23, 2025

These Terms of Use govern your use of Jeevan Suraksha Social Security Collective, an initiative of Health Guard Foundation, services. By accessing our platform, you agree to these terms.

Terms & Conditions

Eligibility: Any Indian citizen residing in Telangana & Andhra Pradesh or a permanent resident of Telangana & Andhra Pradesh working anywhere in the world can enrol, provided they are between 18 and 60 years of age and are not terminally ill at the time of enrolment.

Membership approval is subject to verification. If an applicant does not meet the eligibility criteria, the membership will be declined, and the amount refunded. The verification process may take up to one week, with refunds processed within 21 days.

Non-Transferable Membership: Members cannot switch to a different membership category after joining without prior written notification to our team. Each individual is allowed only one active membership. Duplicate memberships will be rejected during verification.

Applicants must provide valid identity proof, age proof, and nominee details. Additional documents may be requested during verification.

Contribution Responsibility: Members must contribute as required to maintain eligibility for benefits.

Membership Review & Rejection: Upon registration, our team will review the details and may reject any application if foul play is suspected, such as enrolling terminally ill individuals. In such cases, the membership fee will be refunded.

Fund Utilization: Contributions will only be used for disbursing payouts to deceased members’ nominees. The final payout depends on the total contributions from active members. The trust does not guarantee a fixed payout  from 25 lakhs to 1 Crore. The nominee will receive the total amount contributed by active members at that time.

Exclusions for Payouts: Payouts will not be made in cases of suicide, nominee involvement in the member’s death, or fraudulent circumstances.

Failure to Contribute: Members who fail to contribute when required will have their membership terminated and will not be eligible for benefits. Missing a contribution may result in the suspension of membership until dues are cleared. Repeated non-payment will lead to termination.

To re-join, members must clear all pending dues. If a terminated member passes away before re-joining, any outstanding contributions will be paid to their nominee.

Member can move from one collective to another within one year, but this requires prior permission from the Jeevan Suraksha team. The member must reach out to the team and follow the necessary procedure to facilitate the transfer between collectives.

Voluntary Withdrawal: Members can withdraw at any time, but previously paid contributions will not be refunded. Re-joining requires payment of arrears.

Membership Cap: Once the group reaches 25,000 members, new groups may be formed.

Claim Process: In case of a member’s demise, the nominee must report the incident via the website or helpline. If the cause of death is under investigation, the payout will be withheld until legal clearance is obtained.

Note: There is a 90-day cooling period for certain claims. This means that the claim can only be processed after a waiting period of 90 days from the date of enrollment or contribution. For more details on the cooling period, please refer to the terms and conditions or contact the Jeevan Suraksha team.

Dispute Resolution: Any disputes will be reviewed by the collective’s governing committee, whose decision will be final.
